Muscular system
Big muscles makes a person look stronger and this fits for the guys. For females, the slimmer the muscles the better it looks. Muscle helps us in our physical look, but not only our physical look but also our physical strength. Most people exercise and eat healthy food to make it stronger. So, if you want your muscles to me stronger, exercise!
Our muscular system has 5 main functions. By contraction, the muscle tissue can become smaller to cause movements. Our muscles respond to the stimulus, it is flexible and returns to its original shape and it can extend further. There are 3 types of muscle tissues. First it the skeletal muscle which is attached to the bones, visceral muscle is the muscles in our organs and lastly the cardiac muscle which is located in our heart. Only our skeletal muscles are voluntary, which means can be controlled, while the cardiac and visceral muscles are involuntary, which means cannot be controlled.

Our muscular system works with the skeletal and nervous system. From the 5 functions of the muscle, our muscles respond to the stimuli. For example, when our body bumps to a wall, it feels the action so the neurons send the impulses to the brain and makes our body to feel the bump. For the skeletal system, we have a muscle tissue called the skeletal muscle. This muscle helps our bones to move, without the muscle being attached to the bones, our bones cannot move properly.
This picture shows the muscle of a male who did essentric training which made the muscle thinker and stronger. Essentric training is one of the ways to increase muscle strength. But this is mostly used my males, for females it is better to do mild exercises like yoga or jogging to slim the muscles..

According to the author, our metabolism rate can be affected by what you eat and on how you do your exercises. If a person want to have a lean muscle follow healthy diet and exercise regularly. Our body can “shut down” your metabolism will slow down when you don’t eat the proper food. But the main cause metabolism slowing down is because of the food that we eat not our age and we can solve this by eating the right food and exercise daily. Usually people use advertisements to lure other people on their products that don’t really help on our diet. For exercises, don’t exercise and eat little because it will slow our metabolism but, do healthy diet to build up your muscles and boost your metabolism. The meals we should eat each day depends on our schedule. When a person is awake everyday from 6:00AM-11:00PM he/she should eat 6-7 meals while if a person wake up early and sleep 9:00PM, he/she should eat less meals. Chad said it also depends on your body and your everyday activities. People, usually, should eat 3 hours after meals because the food that enters your stomach remains for about 2-4 hours. But if a person is still full after 3 hours, he/she should control on what he/she eats, if that person eat too much it will decrease the metabolism rate. The author suggests that it is better if we have a nutritionist to guide us on how many calorie you should eat. For male, the usual calorie intake they should have is 2,500-3,000 calories, but it depends on the activities they do every day. And at the age of 40 and 50, the calorie intake should drop by 200-300 calories, every time their age increases and this is not the exact procedure you should follow, it depends on your body. For woman, the average calorie intake at the age of 20’s to early 30’s is 2,000 calories a day and it will decrease by 1,700 daily when a woman gets old, or her body changes, or after child birth. At the age of 50, their calorie intake will decrease again around 1,500 daily depending on age, everyday activities and when they have menopause. All in all, don’t do unhealthy things to lose weight but follow proper diet and eat regularly to lose weight and make your muscle lean.

Thank you for designing us to have muscles. I can’t imagine a world with humans having no muscles. Thank you Lord that You designed us to have a muscle to control our strength. I also thank you for the spiritual strength that You gave to us, that we can resist to temptations. I hope that You will guide us to control our physical and spiritual strength. I hope that we can use our strength to help people, not to hurt people. Lord please guide other people who use their strength in wrong ways. I know that some other people use their strength to boast, to physically hurt or any other bad things. I hope that someday those people will realize what did they do and pray for forgiveness for what they have done. Amen.
