Digestive system
Everyday the average calorie intake that a person needs is 2,000 calories. People who eats more than the average calorie intake and eats unhealthy food usually becomes obese or have illnesses. We should eat healthy food to strengthen our body and be healthy. To get these needs we need our Digestive system.
The four main functions that our Digestive system does are ingestion, digestion, absorption and egestion. It helps our body to ingest food, or take in food. After ingesting, our system digests the food and absorbs the nutrients from it. And the last step is, egestion, which means the excretion of wastes out of our body.
Our digestive system works with the urinary and the endocrine system. During digestion in the stomach, our stomach releases a liquid called chime which is used in the small intestine. When the chime enters the small intestine it makes the hormones come out. These hormones cause the other organs to secret enzymes. So after the all of the process, during the egestion process, the digestive system delivers the excess liquid to the urinary organs which secrets the liquid wastes.

This article was about the epidemics. Hepatitis C was found when the scientists discovered about a hepatitis that is non-A and non-B. When a person has a hepatitis C, mostly a person will not show any symptoms. Some people with this virus can feel feverish, have some pain near the liver and other symptoms. Usually a person with hepatitis C shows symptoms after 3 months after being exposed to the disease. Hepatitis C can cause cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma, which is a liver cancer. Hepatitis A, B and C can be transmitted by, using the same utensils with the person who has hepatitis, unprotected sexual intercourse and sharing of contaminated needles during drug use. Cirrhosis are caused by Hepatitis C, drug use and alcohol abuse. These epidemics can be treated by several drugs including the Ribavirin which is the most effective way to treat a person. There is also a protein called Interferon, which is effective but less effective than the Ribavirin. All these epidemics are dangerous when a person gets contaminated and can't easily be cured so exercise, eat healthy food and avoid unhealthy habits.

Prayer
Almighty God,
Thank you for the food that we eat is healthy and nutritious. Thank you that we eat three large meals a day. I know Lord that all over the world there are people who suffers from hunger. I pray for them Lord that You will bless them and nourish them with Your love. I hope that other people who have enough food will not waste the food that they have. Amen.
